Unsure of which
way to turn
I hear;

faarwor march!
A school band
practising
in the distance
has all the
answers.

Baked

a cake today
and left it to rise,
and how it rose.
An orange cinnamon
ball of warm love that
couldn’t be contained;
So I let it go whole,
untasted, untouched,
heavenwards
to you.
