us.

I

feel like a
tooth ache
that won't
go away.

Sometimes

I wish I hadn't seen
what I saw,
at least then
I wouldn't have become
me at all.

Lingering

on like the silent partner
of a Messrs & Messrs (silent)
Co. Pvt. Ltd;
only to fade away
unnoticed, unwanted
some day.

Fear

I still see her
sometimes;
free from the weight
of expectations,
drinking from a
can of baygon.

I pulled out the thermals
threw on more clothes;
slapped the creamy stuff
upon the sodding nose.
